v1.60: Project Memory
What's New
Project Memory: Fabric now remembers context for each project across sessions, and can read memory left by other coding agents.
Redesigned Hooks Editor: The Hooks settings now use a plain-English WHEN / IF / THEN sentence builder with a template gallery and a built-in test flow.
Collaborator Posture: On ambiguous or high-stakes requests, Fabric now asks clarifying questions or surfaces its assumptions before acting, instead of silently guessing.
Bug Fixes
Long pasted messages no longer freeze a conversation — messages are now capped and you can continue chatting.
Fabric now retries when a network connection times out, instead of giving up on your request.
Fixed certain AI actions being silently dropped due to formatting issues.
Improved file editing reliability by restoring fuzzy matching as a fallback when exact matches fail.
Fixed actions failing on follow-up turns with providers like Moonshot/Kimi and OpenAI.
Fixed text formatting where indented text was incorrectly displayed as code blocks.
