What's New

  • Office & PDF Attachments: Attach Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF files to any chat, regardless of which AI model you're using. Fabric automatically extracts text and page images so models without native support can still read them.

  • Vertical Chat Tabs: A new Tab Layout toggle lets you display chat tabs as a vertical panel on the left instead of a horizontal bar on top. Tab groups and drag-and-drop work in both layouts.

  • Collapsible Thinking Blocks: AI reasoning now collapses by default, showing a "Thinking…" indicator while generating and a brief summary afterward. Blocks automatically expand when a response needs your input, then collapse again.

  • Smarter Multi-Step Tasks: Multi-step plans now run more reliably in the background, and tasks that need your input can pause and resume seamlessly. The /implement command now uses this improved system.

  • Faster Responses with On-Demand Skills: Fabric now loads skill information only when needed instead of including it all upfront, making every response faster and more efficient.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed folder search returning no results.

  • Bug reports can now be submitted without signing in or having a Fabric API key.
