What's New

  • Video Attachments: Attach and send video files directly in your messages. Fabric automatically handles video uploads and ensures they're ready before sending.

  • Chat-Driven MCP Setup: Install and configure MCP servers directly from the chat interface. Fabric automatically detects when server configurations change and updates running servers.

  • Drag-and-Drop Tab Reordering: Reorder your chat tabs and tab groups by dragging them. Empty tab groups are automatically cleaned up.

  • Dynamic Tool Discovery: When working with MCP servers that have many tools, Fabric can now search for relevant tools on-demand instead of loading everything upfront.

  • GPT-5.4 Support: Added support for OpenAI's GPT-5.4 model with optimized settings.

  • GitHub Issue Toggle: Control whether Fabric can create GitHub issues on a per-project basis in General settings.

Improvements

  • Queued Messages: When you send multiple messages quickly, Fabric now queues them properly and ensures they're all sent even if you cancel mid-generation.

  • Live Permission Recovery: If Fabric needs permission to use a tool while generating a response, you can now grant it without interrupting the conversation.

  • MCP OAuth Support: MCP servers that require OAuth authentication now work seamlessly with secure token storage and automatic refresh.
