v1.50: Browser Automation
What's New
Browser Automation: Fabric can now control your browser directly. Ask it to research a topic, fill out forms, or capture screenshots, and watch it navigate pages, click buttons, and type text automatically. The browser appears docked beside your chat, with device frames and zoom controls. All screenshots are saved and shared with the AI for context.
macOS Permission Helper: When Fabric needs screen recording or accessibility permissions, it now shows direct links to the right System Settings pane.
Improvements
Long-running terminal commands (like training ML models or processing video) are no longer cut off after 10 minutes.
Windows users can now use tools installed after Fabric started—the app refreshes your system PATH automatically.
Bug Fixes
Fixed terminal commands returning empty output on Windows without Git Bash.
Fixed AI responses getting hidden behind collapsed thinking sections.
Fixed root-level project files not appearing in the file tree.
Fixed crashes when opening the Graph view by deferring startup until needed.
