v1.45

v1.45: Japanese, Chinese, and Korean Input Support

|1 min read

What's New

  • Japanese, Chinese, and Korean Input: Full support for IME composition. The Enter key now works correctly during character conversion (e.g., Kanji selection) instead of accidentally sending messages.

  • Media Previews: View images and other media files directly in the editor with zoom and pan controls.

  • Tab Notifications: Enable sound notifications when tabs need your attention.

  • Smarter Permission Controls: Improved safety checks for terminal commands and file edits, with clearer permission options.

  • Tier-Based Model Selection: Your subscription tier now determines which AI model is selected by default (you can still choose manually).

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed authentication issues with passkeys and security keys in the built-in browser.

  • Fixed crashes when AI responses had repeated errors or missing information.

  • Fixed permission loops when running terminal commands with pipes.

  • Fixed MCP server setup to catch invalid server names earlier.

  • Improved tab shortcuts: Cmd+T now keeps your current tab group, and the plus button creates standalone tabs.
